Dazzle Me

This weekend's Trifextra challenge is to write a 33-word piece including these three words:

myopic
dazzle
basin

Wanna truly dazzle me this Christmas?

Keep the diamonds. Instead, how's about you teach my tragically myopic children to use garbage cans, rinse toothpaste out of the basin and flush their @&*%$ toilet?

  1. Haha, sounds like a well reasoned deal.

    1. So, you unflushed toilets too? ;) I tell my kids they are lucky they're cute. That's what keeps them alive every time I see their trash sitting on the counter just inches from the garbage can.

      Thanks, my friend! :)

  9. Poor children! Let them experiment! Yes yes, devil's advocate...but my my...I don't know many men wired to teach such complicated matters...speaking for myself of course, much to my shame, not that I would dare offer such 'suggestions' to my crew of 3 gals.

    1. MG, you big softy. Lol!

I'm all for children experimenting. As a matter of fact, my daughter has been trying out Pinterest hairstyles on my head all night. :) However, the unflushed toilet, dirty sink, and non discarded trash experiments are proven failures.

  10. I was going to make a comment about diamond mine owners supporting apartheid. I then realized I did not know what I was talking about. I do wonder how many of the people mourning Mr. Mandela own diamonds.

  13. I can always count on you to make me laugh. Take the diamonds, cash one of them in for an automatic flush toilet. Solution to one out of three's not bad. :)
